create JOY by CELEBRATing BOUNTY - our current issue
Ever feel as though you've been given too much? Whether a heaping plate of leftovers or an overwhelming life situation, when circumstances are forced upon us, its challenging to enjoy ourselves, let alone to also feel grateful.
Relationships, career goals, to-do lists, expectations of friends and family... An excess of anything feels like too much. Bounty, or its potential, begins when a choice is made. In deliberation, lies peace. In intention, resides the fruits of our labor.
Nor can we wish for too much or live with too much regret. Feelings, too, can be chosen, managed. Living a life of bounty, then, doesn't boil down to being able to control the circumstances; only in navigating thoughtfully through the stuff of life.
At The Perpetual You, we believe the key to bounty--attaining it and appreciating it--is remaining aware of one's needs and claiming only what we truly desire. Through intention, we can reach a place where simple bounty is more than enough.
Create EASE by Choosing wisdom - our retrospective issue
Happy Anniversary to us! The Perpetual You magazine turned 4 in August of 2018. We couldn't be more blessed to be a part of this network of wise women collaborators, supporters, and readers!
Our dream come true started with a need: we wanted to read a magazine and not feel desperate or depressed afterwards. Meeting that need turned into a relentless, courageous, creative pursuit to improve the lives of women everywhere.
Through it all, we've learned (and re-learned!) that we can't do anything alone. The women in our tribe are both fulcrum and inspiration. We've also learned that strength and self-care are equally important aspects of a wise woman's life.
We had a hunch that women needed encouragement as much as they did tools, and wanted camaraderie more than a bunch of "how-tos." The past several years have proved we were wiser than we knew: our intuition was spot on. We'll keep amassing--and sharing--our wisdom until these truths are no longer a need.
