create fun by unleashing moxie - our current issue
In a world of falsity and, in particular, during a month focused on frivolity, there's something refreshing about a woman who knows what she wants and expresses what she needs. A woman unafraid to pursue her desires, and have fun all the while.
Confidence, though, isn't a costume we don one day and pack away the next. At The Perpetual You, we see confidence as an intentional belief in one's ability to live truly and freely--to stand in one's power, albeit with compassion and humility. That type of confidence, once found, doesn't ever go away!
Moxie takes your typical dose of confidence and uplevels it to the point of no return. Like a mask, moxie offers fun and mystery; unlike a mask, moxie can be a part of your wardrobe every single day. We routinely make ourselves up--which can help us feel beautiful; moxie, by unveiling who we really are, ensures we are beautiful.
From small steps to big leaps, moxie is multifaceted, even while being single-minded in its purpose--to have more fun and inspire others to do the same. Let the quirks out of the box that is you, and the ghosts out of the closet that is your past. Be your true self--Moxie and all.
Create EASE by Choosing wisdom - our retrospective issue
Happy Anniversary to us! The Perpetual You magazine turned 4 in August of 2018. We couldn't be more blessed to be a part of this network of wise women collaborators, supporters, and readers!
Our dream come true started with a need: we wanted to read a magazine and not feel desperate or depressed afterwards. Meeting that need turned into a relentless, courageous, creative pursuit to improve the lives of women everywhere.
Through it all, we've learned (and re-learned!) that we can't do anything alone. The women in our tribe are both fulcrum and inspiration. We've also learned that strength and self-care are equally important aspects of a wise woman's life.
We had a hunch that women needed encouragement as much as they did tools, and wanted camaraderie more than a bunch of "how-tos." The past several years have proved we were wiser than we knew: our intuition was spot on. We'll keep amassing--and sharing--our wisdom until these truths are no longer a need.
